Who was your favourite teacher?

Who was your favourite teacher at school? Was it the teacher whose primary focus was to teach the curriculum no matter what? Was it the teacher who ignored you when you struggled with a concept or skill? Or was it the teacher who played that very important role of being your champion?

When I look back on my elementary school life, the one teacher who stands out to me is the one who knew me like the back of her hand. She knew my likes and dislikes, my strengths and challenges, my favourite colour and even my favourite food. She was like the mother I had wished for as a child. She took me under her wings and ensured that I felt safe and comfortable in her class. She even invited me to have lunch with her family on Sundays. God bless her soul...she has passed on to the great beyond but her love and passion she exuded in the class will forever be etched in my heart. R.I.P Mrs Rameau❤
